Comair Pilots Sue Airline, Union Over $61M Settlement

Law360, New York (July 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of Comair pilots has filed a lawsuit for a cut of the $61 million its union negotiated in a settlement of claims during the airline's bankruptcy proceedings.

The 11 named senior pilots claim the Air Line Pilots Association is withholding the spoils of the deal negotiated as part of Comair's bid to modify employment agreements and exit Chapter 11 protection.
