Penn State's Insurance Co. Sues To Limit Sandusky Claims

Law360, New York (February 1, 2012, 10:34 PM EST) -- An insurer for Pennsylvania State University filed a lawsuit Tuesday asking a court to limit its liability for a civil suit filed by an alleged victim of former assistant football coach Gerald Sandusky, who is facing criminal charges for allegedly molesting multiple young boys in a scandal that rocked the university's storied football program.

Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association Insurance Co. asked for a declaratory judgment that the university “is not entitled to coverage and defense under certain policies issued by PMA.”
