Freight Manager Admits To Illegal Exports To Iran

Law360, New York (February 8, 2012, 4:46 PM EST) -- A former manager with a Netherlands-based freight-forwarding company pled guilty in New Jersey federal court on Monday to charges that he conspired to illegally export spray paint coatings and other goods to Iran.

Prosecutors say Ulrich Davis, a 50-year-old Dutch citizen, worked with a co-conspirator in another country to funnel goods from New Jersey to businesses and governmental agencies of Iran, which has faced mounting sanctions and other pressure over its nuclear program. Davis was arrested in August.
