Viacom Says Acne Treatment Co. Skirted Marketing Payments

Law360, New York (February 8, 2012, 6:18 PM EST) -- Viacom International Inc. lodged a breach of contract suit in New York state court Wednesday, alleging thermal acne treatment company Zeno Corp. skipped out on paying for an advertising campaign.

Viacom claims Zeno owes it almost $250,000 for providing an advertising campaign featuring reality TV star Whitney Port, who is best known for her role in MTV’s “The Hills.”

“Zeno materially breached the services agreement when it failed to timely remit the required fees to Viacom,” the complaint said.
