EPA Gets More Heat Over California Emissions Cap

Law360 (July 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Policy Administration should stop dragging its feet in deciding whether to allow California to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and take action soon, Democrats have told the agency's chief.

EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson returned to the Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works on Thursday for his second hearing on the issue in the last three months, where he came under fire for announcing that the agency would not make a decision until the end of the year.
