Honda Sued Over Power Window Defect

Law360, New York (February 10, 2012, 5:21 PM EST) -- A putative class action filed Thursday claims American Honda Motor Co. Inc. failed to address power window problems that can leave multiple models' side windows stuck open, saying Honda would only replace the failed mechanisms with the same defective parts.

Named plaintiffs Phyllis Grodzitsky and Jeremy Bordelon allege that parts in the window regulator mechanisms are “insufficiently strong for the application” and prone to breaking, leaving the windows inoperable and, often, stuck open.
