Hendrix Estate Asks 9th Circ. To Restore $1.4M IP Award

Law360, New York (February 10, 2012, 8:47 PM EST) -- Jimi Hendrix's estate urged the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to overturn a judge's decision to slash a jury's $1.4 million award in a trademark dispute to $60,000, as well as his declaration that a Washington state law protecting posthumous publicity rights is unconstitutional.
