Amazon To Establish 2nd Del. Hub For $90M

Law360, New York (February 14, 2012, 6:36 PM EST) -- Online retail giant Amazon.com Inc. will open a second fulfillment center in Delaware, a 1 million-square-foot facility slated to cost more than $90 million, the company announced Tuesday.

The packing, shipping and warehouse facility, which is set for completion this fall, will create 850 new jobs in the state, according to Amazon.

Seattle-based Amazon pioneered the online marketplace business model in 1995 and has since become a multibillion-dollar company with divisions in the Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and the U.K.
