Judge Trims LG Smartphone Defect Class Action

Law360, New York (February 15, 2012, 8:01 PM EST) -- While allowing the bulk of the case to move forward, a California federal judge gave LG Electronics MobileComm USA Inc. a minor victory Monday in a putative class action battle over an allegedly defective smartphone by partially dismissing one of seven claims brought by consumers.
