'Sex And The City' Writer Bushnell Sued Over Royalties

Law360, New York (February 15, 2012, 7:59 PM EST) -- “Sex and the City” author Candace Bushnell was sued Wednesday by a former business associate who claims she is cutting him out of a contract to pay a share of royalties from the lucrative film and television series.

Clifford Streit, a professional manager, claims Bushnell has reneged on a deal to provide him with a perpetual cut of royalties from the HBO series and later movies inspired by Bushnell's tale of four glamorous New York single women.
