Facebook Resolves Trademark Row With 'Face Book Of Sex'

Law360, New York (February 15, 2012, 7:11 PM EST) -- Facebook Inc. on Wednesday settled its trademark infringement lawsuit in California federal court against the operators of the "Face Book of Sex," and the parties also resolved counterclaims that sought to cancel the social networking giant's marks.

U.S. District Judge Saundra Brown Armstrong dismissed the suit, saying the parties had notified the court of their deal to bring the litigation between Facebook and Various Inc., which operates the FriendFinder online dating service, to an end.
