NBA Team Accuses Ticketmaster Of Monopoly Abuse

Law360 (July 31, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers and an online ticketing company have fired off a lawsuit against Ticketmaster LLC accusing it of blocking out competition and tying its services by filing a lawsuit against the basketball team.

The Cavaliers Operating Co. LLC and Flash Seats LLC, which sells tickets that customers can resell, on Monday accused Ticketmaster of abusing its monopoly by taking legal action against the Cavaliers in an effort to cut the team's ties to Flash Seats.
