'Spider-Man' Producers Agree To Pay Ex-Director Royalties

Law360, New York (February 16, 2012, 4:24 PM EST) -- The producers of Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" have agreed to pay the show's former director royalties as part of a settlement with the director's union, the parties said Thursday.

The settlement between 8 Legged Productions LLC and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society Inc. resolves part of a bitter legal dispute between the producers and Julie Taymor, the director they fired last March.
