FDA Looks To Improve Food Safety Oversight

Law360 (July 31, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Association on Tuesday launched a new program to enhance states’ individual food safety programs in the hopes of strengthening food safety regulation across the United States.

The ultimate goal of the nationwide program is the adoption of the Manufactured Food Regulatory Program Standards which have been created by the FDA.
