In-Sourcing Afghan Police Training Wasn't An Option: GAO

Law360, New York (February 23, 2012, 7:56 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Defense did not seriously consider using government personnel to completely replace contractors when taking control of Afghanistan’s police training program in 2009 because it didn’t have enough skilled people to do the job, according to a Thursday government report.
