La. Mayor Loses Bid For Mistrial In Bribery Case

Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 5:25 PM EST) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Thursday refused to declare a mistrial in the criminal case against George L. Grace, the former mayor of St. Gabriel, La., charged with taking bribes for government contracts, finding that an undercover FBI agent's statements had not prejudiced the jury.
