Apple Dealt Blow In Kodak IP Row

Law360, New York (March 8, 2012, 4:04 PM EST) -- Apple Inc. suffered dual setbacks in a New York bankruptcy court Thursday when a judge denied two motions for relief from Eastman Kodak Co.'s bankruptcy stay that would have allowed Apple to proceed with patent infringement actions against the fallen photography giant.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Allan L. Gropper denied the motions, which were seeking declarations that a filing before the  U.S. International Trade Commission and another to be filed shortly in the Western District of New York would not constitute a violation of the automatic stay....
