Monsanto Beats Farmers’ Bid To Block Stray Seed IP Suits

Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 5:52 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Friday tossed a suit filed against Monsanto Co. by a group of organic farmers seeking to block potential litigation should patented Monsanto seeds stray onto their land, calling the suit an obvious attempt to create controversy.
