Chartis Wins $8.5M From Evanston For Bratz Defense

Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 1:26 PM EST) -- Evanston Insurance Co. owes three Chartis Inc. companies about $8.5 million for costs related to the defense of MGA Entertainment Inc. in its trade secrets battle with Mattel Inc. over the popular Bratz doll line, a California federal judge ruled Friday.
