Nokia Dismisses One Patent From Qualcomm Dispute

Law360, New York (August 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Nokia Corp. has decided to dismiss claims relating to one mobile communications patent it had asserted in a counterclaim against rival Qualcomm Inc. in a pending infringement suit.

On Tuesday, Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas granted the unopposed request to dismiss without prejudice claims relating to U.S. Patent Number 6,912,402 from the suit.
