Zenith Drops Patent Claims Against Rival TV Maker

Law360 (August 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- One of three electronics makers named as co-defendants in a patent suit has reached a “mutually satisfactory resolution” of the claims brought by Zenith Electronics Corp., according to court papers.

Texas federal judge David Folsom signed an order throwing out the infringement action against China's TTE Corp. and its U.S. subsidiary TTE Technology Inc. on Tuesday, after the parties filed a joint stipulation of dismissal.

Counsel for the parties did not immediately reply to requests for comment Thursday.
