Facebook, Zynga Among Targets In Sweeping Gaming IP Suit

Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 6:39 PM EST) -- Online game maker Gametek LLC on Tuesday hit Facebook Inc., Electronic Arts Inc., Zynga Inc. and a host of other gaming companies with patent suits, claiming in a pair of actions that the companies are infringing its interactive gaming technology patent.

The suits, both in California federal court, also name game makers Backflip Studios Inc., Six Waves Inc., Big Viking Games Inc., Buffalo Studios LLC, Cie Games Inc., Crowdstar Inc., Funzio Inc., RockYou Inc., TheBroth Inc. and Wooga GMBH.
