Atlanta Cops Win $7.5M Overtime Settlement

Law360, New York (August 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The City of Atlanta has reportedly agreed to pay $7.5 million to settle charges that it bilked over 100 police officers out of proper overtime pay.

Atlanta's Public Safety Committee approved the settlement Tuesday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It will now go to the full City Council, which has scheduled a vote for Aug. 20.
