Mystery Novelist's Ex-Agent Loses Bid For Cut Of New Book

Law360, New York (March 1, 2012, 2:54 PM EST) -- A New York state appeals court determined Thursday that the former literary agency of author Martha Grimes is not entitled to a piece of the writer's commission for a book deal reached after Grimes sought new representation, rejecting the agency's breach of contract appeal.
