Kilroy Realty Plunks Down $162M For Bay Area Office Park

Law360, New York (March 1, 2012, 7:21 PM EST) -- Kilroy Realty Corp. has bought the seven-building Menlo Corporate Center in California for over $162 million, part of a buying spree that has included seven other purchases in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2010, the Los Angeles-based landlord said Thursday.

The 374,000-square-foot center in Menlo Park is mostly occupied by tenants including E-Trade and Allstate Insurance Co., according to Kilroy, which said it planned to expand its presence in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula along with the technology firms that are growing in...
