EU Court Asked To Mull Google Users' Right To Be Forgotten

Law360, New York (March 2, 2012, 5:34 PM EST) -- Spain's National Court has asked the European Union's highest court to weigh in on whether residents in Spain could make Google Inc. exclude third-party websites with information about them from its search results, the Spanish court said Friday.

It said it was the first court to raise the issue before the European Court of Justice, though several European courts have mulled the question of the so-called right to be forgotten.
