Facebook On The Ropes In ‘Faceporn’ Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (March 5, 2012, 2:42 PM EST) -- A California magistrate judge on Friday urged the dismissal of Facebook Inc.'s suit accusing the Norwegian operator of Faceporn.com of diluting the social media giant's trademark, saying Facebook had failed to demonstrate jurisdiction over the Scandinavian defendants.

In recommending that Facebook's motion for default judgment against the pornographic website's operators be denied, U.S. Magistrate Judge Nathanael M.
