Goldman Sachs Can't Budge Capmark's $147M NY Suit

Law360, New York (March 5, 2012, 10:44 PM EST) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. on Monday lost its bid to move to Delaware a New York suit launched by newly reorganized mortgage lender Capmark Financial Group Inc., which seeks $147 million from the bank over alleged preferential transfers.

U.S. District Judge Robert W. Sweet found that Goldman Sachs had failed to prove that moving the case to Delaware would be in justice's best interest, denying the bank's motion to relocate the suit.
