Alexander Wang Running Chinatown 'Sweatshop,' Suit Says

Law360, New York (March 6, 2012, 6:56 PM EST) -- An attorney for a class of workers suing fashion designer Alexander Wang for hazardous working conditions and abusive practices said Tuesday that this was not an isolated incident, calling labor conditions in New York Chinatown facilities “horrible.”

In a proposed class action complaint filed in New York Supreme Court in Queens County last month, lead plaintiff Wenyu Lu called Wang’s manufacturing facility in the Chinatown district of Manhattan a “sweatshop.”
