“Troubled” By Dismissal, Circuit Revives V-Chip Suit

Law360 (August 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- “Troubled” by a lower court's reasoning, a federal appeals court has resuscitated lawsuits filed by Sony Electronics Inc., Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Inc. and other major television manufacturers who are challenging the validity of patents purportedly covering “V-chip” adult content censoring technology.
