Writers Hid Plan For 'Housewives' Death, Creator Testifies

Law360, Los Angeles (March 7, 2012, 4:14 PM EST) -- "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry testified Wednesday in actress Nicollette Sheridan's wrongful termination trial that the show's writing staff came up with a secret code to reference her character's impending death — months before Cherry struck Sheridan on set.
