Consumer Class Bid Nixed In Del Monte Monopoly Row

Law360, New York (March 8, 2012, 1:59 PM EST) -- A California appeals court on Wednesday upheld the denial of class certification for consumers who claim Del Monte Fresh Produce Co. violated state law by using sham patent litigation to monopolize the market for extra-sweet pineapple.
