Verizon, Other Telecom Giants Targeted Over Wireless Patents

Law360, New York (March 9, 2012, 7:54 PM EST) -- Telecommunications and patent licensing company Adaptix Inc. hit Verizon Wireless, LG Electronics Inc., Apple Inc. and AT&T Inc. with a pair of patent suits Friday, accusing the companies of infringing its patents covering wireless technology.

Adaptix accuses Verizon and LG of making and selling computerized communications devices, including the LG Spectrum and LG Revolution smartphones, that infringe U.S. Patent Number 6,947,748, titled “OFDMA with adaptive subcarrier-cluster configuration and selective loading.”
