Cessna Renews Calls for Canadian Venue

Law360, New York (August 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Cessna Aircraft Co. attempted to chip away at the multidistrict litigation over allegedly faulty de-icing equipment on its planes, renewing its call for a Canadian crash victim's claims to be dismissed and transferred to Canada.

The airplane manufacturer filed a motion Monday to dismiss the claims of Nancy Chase-Allan's survivors on the grounds of forum non conveniens in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
