Rapper DMX Sued By Spurned Booking Agent

Law360, New York (March 13, 2012, 2:36 PM EDT) -- Booking agent Heavy Rotation LLC sued rapper DMX in New York federal court last week, claiming the musician breached a booking agreement by failing to perform at scheduled shows and signing with another agency. 

In a complaint filed March 7, Heavy Rotation claims Earl Simmons — best known as DMX — violated a booking agreement by failing to appear at scheduled events, allowing rival companies to book shows and fraudulently misrepresenting his circumstances to both Heavy Rotation and show promoters.
