Mich. Seeks Builder For Last Leg Of $230M Gateway Plan

Law360, New York (March 13, 2012, 2:57 PM EDT) -- The Michigan Department of Transportation on Tuesday released an aggressive design-build procurement schedule to find a contractor to finish the long-stalled $230 million Gateway project aimed at easing Canadian border traffic.

The MDOT wants to lock down a contractor by mid-April for the project Michigan Circuit Court Judge Prentis Edwards ordered a private company to turn over to the state last week, according to a statement the DOT issued Tuesday.
