Calif. Appeals Court Nixes Avis Parking Ticket Fee Case

Law360, San Diego (March 13, 2012, 11:06 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday upheld the dismissal of a car renter's proposed nationwide class action alleging Avis Rent A Car System LLC violated consumer protection statutes and other laws when it paid for customers' parking tickets and charged an additional fee for doing so.
