Puzo Estate Goes To The Mattresses Against Paramount

Law360, New York (March 13, 2012, 10:17 PM EDT) -- The estate of "The Godfather" author Mario Puzo fired back at Paramount Pictures Corp. in New York federal court on Monday, saying the studio has no right to challenge its plans for a new 'Godfather' sequel novel.

Paramount sued the estate in February, seeking to block a new unauthorized sequel novel on the grounds that it infringes the studio's trademarks and copyright.
