9th Circ. Gives AT&T Another Shot To Arbitrate Class Action

Law360, Chicago (March 16, 2012, 7:10 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit ruled Friday that a lower court had erred when it refused to enforce AT&T Mobility LLC's arbitration agreement with customers suing it over consumer fees, finding the Federal Arbitration Act preempts a Washington state law that purportedly invalidated the agreement's class action waiver.
