Court Guts N.Y. Real Estate Broker Listing Suit

Law360 (August 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a setback for broker database and listing system BrokersNYC's antitrust suit against the Real Estate Board of New York and its member brokerages, a district judge has granted the defendants summary judgment on all claims in the case except one.

Judge Leonard Sand also dismissed two defendants, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc. and William B. May Co. R.E. Inc., from the case entirely since they were allegedly never served the complaint. The plaintiff didn't object to their dismissal, according to the judge's order.
