Google, Yahoo, Others Sued Over Cloud Storage Patents

Law360, New York (March 23, 2012, 12:35 PM EDT) -- A technology patent licensing company sued Google Inc., Yahoo! Inc., Hewlett-Packard Co. and Box Inc. in Texas on Thursday, claiming the defendants infringed patents covering cloud technology data storage. 

In four separate complaints filed in Texas federal court, Titanide Ventures LLC claims the companies infringed four patents when they developed their own services that stored user information in a cloud-based system for easy retrieval.
