Honda, Plaintiffs Seek Court OK For Odometer Pact

Law360, New York (August 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The lead plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit against Honda Motor Company Ltd. have joined forces with their former foe to seek approval of a settlement in the case over the Japanese car maker's allegedly faulty odometers.

Honda and the plaintiffs filed court papers in a Texas federal court on Friday in support of a joint motion to approve the settlement, which would cost the car maker $115 million in lease and warranty extensions, repair and lease mileage refunds, and waived excess charges for lessees....
