Judge OKs Beyond Oblivion's $4M Deal With Music Startup

Law360, New York (March 26, 2012, 3:50 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge on Monday approved the $4.2 million sale of failed music startup Beyond Oblivion Inc. to Gee Beyond Holdings Inc. after the sale parties worked out an objection filed by a group of technology licensors.

After a one-hour delay before the hearing during which the parties resolved their remaining differences, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Allan L. Gropper signed off on the sale, which consists of $2.5 million in cash, $1.5 million in senior secured notes and $200,000 in assumed contract liabilities. It includes...
