Vinson & Elkins Reveals Upcoming Merger

Law360 (August 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As the next wave of bankruptcies starts to pour in, Vinson & Elkins LLP has snagged a restructuring boutique founded by a group of former Wachtell partners to help boost the Texas powerhouse's bankruptcy practice group.

Vinson & Elkins recently announced that it snatched up the five partners attached to bankruptcy boutique Cronin & Vris, hoping to strengthen the firm's New York presence and expand the current insolvency and reorganization practice.
