'Angry Birds' Maker Rovio Plucks Futuremark's Gaming Unit

Law360, New York (March 27, 2012, 6:09 PM EDT) -- Rovio Entertainment Ltd., which ignited a mobile gaming craze when it launched “Angry Birds,” has acquired another Finnish tech company, Futuremark Games Studio, the gaming division of software developer Futuremark, Rovio announced Tuesday.

The acquisition is in line with Rovio's commitment to bringing the gaming industry's best and brightest on board, Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said.
