NJ Council OKs High-Rises In $1B Project Near GWB

Law360, New York (March 28, 2012, 7:58 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey council on Monday gave the green light to start construction on a $1 billion residential and commercial project that will bring Bergen County's tallest towers ever to a vacant lot near the George Washington Bridge.

With unanimous approval by the Fort Lee Planning Board, the vote paves the way for Fort Lee Redevelopment Associates LLC to start erecting two 47-story luxury residential towers, as well as a movie theater, museum, restaurants and public park, in a downtown area zoned for redevelopment, according to...
