“Squawk Box” Brokers Lose Bid To Block Retrial

Law360, New York (August 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has issued a blow to a group of former brokers accused of giving day-traders access to private trading information via internal "squawk boxes,” denying their bid to prevent a retrial on one conspiracy count after a jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict on that charge.
