Earth, Wind & Fire Producer's Estate Sues Sony For Royalties

Law360, Los Angeles (March 29, 2012, 8:41 PM EDT) -- The estate of late record producer Charles Stepney slammed Sony Music Holdings Inc. and Earth, Wind & Fire founder Maurice White with a breach of contract lawsuit in Illinois federal court Thursday, saying it's owed royalties for Stepney's work on the soul-funk band's first platinum album and other recordings.
