EPA, Texas Gas Co. Drop Row Over Well Contamination

Law360, Chicago (March 30, 2012, 7:03 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Range Resources Corp. ended their battle Friday over the agency's order requiring the drilling company to remediate contaminated drinking wells in Texas, dropping a lawsuit and Fifth Circuit appeal after the EPA withdrew its order and Range agreed to help monitor wells.
