UnitedHealth Can't Ward Off Doctors' Benefit Payment Suit

Law360, New York (April 2, 2012, 4:51 PM EDT) -- A group of chiropractors can pursue a putative class action alleging UnitedHealth Group Inc. improperly reduced health care reimbursement amounts retroactively, a New Jersey federal judge said Friday, citing doctor-patient agreements giving medical practices the right to pursue benefit payments from UnitedHealth.
